When's my Promotion?!

The television portrays politics as an indispensable tool to everybody who wants a fatter and bigger paycheck. Politicians are everywhere! For politics is practiced in every nook and cranny of the world. It can be found in offices, farms, schools? and sometimes even in your very home!

Everyone a politician~!

Politics also, have many names. Some call it public relation skills, others call it EQ and sometimes, networking skills. It is also known as "ren yuan" by the Chinese, and "aku-kau-bang-bang" by the Malays.

Personally, I do not understand anything about Politics. Any form of politics ( or aku-kau-bang-bang ) is beyond my comprehension. Therefore, I guess this is why I was never voted to be in the Cabinet.

Just earlier on, I went to my maternal grandparents' house to celebrate the last day of a month. Though I didn't really get why there is such a celebration, I still dragged my feet there and smiled plentifully. If you think that by smiling a lot is a form of political tactic, than after reading my next paragraph, you will think that I'm a sucker at it.

Strangely, after 20 odd years, I am still sitting at the kids table during dinner. After 20 years of saying greetings so lovingly and enthusiastically engaging in conversation that I ain't, at all, interested in, I have yet to be vertically, transfered up to the adult table ( the bigger and rounder and ALOT more high class one ) and am still there, at the foldable, and square one.
