The Post after some time

Went dining with Mer and Gang at My Secret Garden last Saturday ( or was it on Sunday? ). It was to celebrate Adriel's and Adeline's birthday.

The restaurant was quite a dissappointment. It looked much better on the web. The table setting looks cheap, Mahjong Paper over white table cloth. I suppose the owner thinks that the bad lighting will help with the setting. But the usage of wick over oil simply reminds me of the Guan Yin temple nearby.

The choice of food is limited, the male waiter ( and I think is also the boss ) is irritating.

They should just change the name into My Secret Temple and convert into a vegetarian cookery.

I only recommend this restaurant to honeymooning lovebirds OR, anyone who's looking for a place to eat after praying at the famous Guan Yin temple at near Bugis.

Anyways, there's a lot of Birthdays coming around this time of the year. My dad's birthday was on the 28th Sept, my Grandpa's birthday falls on Children's Day. My brother's birthday is also round the corner. and than there's Yuhan's and Alicia's birthday also. Arghs! I'm gonna be so broke.

And here's something else.

Full House

I went to buy this Korean Serial after being repeatedly told that it is a must watch.

The following paragraphs are just some reviews after completing the serial.

Firstly, the cast. The cast wasn't all that great. No charming leads, and worse of all, the female lead looks a little like Singapore Actress, Apple Hong, which is a major thumbs down. ( anyone still remember the armpit sweat? )

Romance Lovers should be captivated by the story, since after all, it is about two very different yet similar people, trying to express their love for each other, battling the many obstacles that was being thrown at them ( sounds familiar? ).

For me, I felt that the storyline is way too draggy. It took 21 ( out of 22 ) episodes for both the leads to express what they fell. ( which is a bloody long time )

Full House isn't anything like Autumn in my Heart, which was a big hit a few years ago. Unlike it's famous predecessor, it wasn't a tear-jerker which left countless of housewives crying. Also, FH didn't have the confusing plots like Autumn. A GOOD THING!

What both have in common, however, is the endless repeats of the same song played over and over again through out the length of each episode.

Anyways, Full House should leave its audience with a feel good feeling.

I rate it 3.5 Almond Jellies out of 5.

p.s: Now I know why Jun Rong sings " The 3 Bears " everytime I want to hit him. Hmmm, Raffles students! Childish!

p.p.s: Btw, I passed my Driving on the 25th of September! ^o^
