E.C run

Today was shag. But let's start from yesterday =)

Monday:

The first news I receieved when I reported to camp was that I would have to stay in. But only after the regular specs ( those that signed on with the army ) comes in, which is 'round end of August.

J.M was the COS again. Went down to accompany him for dinner at 1730, than missed the portsdown ( backgate ) timing, so decided to stay-in. Those who watched the show "Superband" this evening must have heard one of the band members saying that "only the cream of the crop goes to become a medic or 'something else.'" That's total bull! We were laughing our heads off when we heard that. To lie on National TV! God... Someone correct his mistake. Yes it's true that being a medic isn't as easy as it seems to,( with all the needles and rectum probe ) but definitely, the best do not become a medic, maybe a medical officer. BUt never a medic.

Stayed till round 2215 than went back to bunk. Surprised to see everybody knocked out except for this malay guy talking on the phone.

Tuesday:

First thing in the morning during breakfast, we ( the specs ) were speculating who that malay guy was talking to. Coz half of the conversation was like "Am I Cute? no? Goooooodddd" ( I wouldn't even say that we were eavesdropping cos he was talking so loud that the people sleeping in the next bunk could hear clearly every single word exchanged during the conversation ).

Went to East Coast for AHM training.
My OC have a theory about running long distances. And that is any run more than 10km is all up to pure will power and determination. I have one too! Anything more than 2.4km is stupid and mindless, a waste of precious time and energy, and simply redundant. This applies to any sprint more than 50m. ( chase bus lar )

However, the sea breeze is good, helps dry up the body freakingly fast. AND, the view was erhmmm nice. ( not to mention entertaining ) Haha! Might be going on Sunday again, but for a totally different exercise.

Till Than. Ciaoz
