A moment of fleeting success
Annually, we have this little celebration to mark our little country's birthday. And every single year, the little parade never fails to inject contagiously huge amounts of patriotism into my system. This year, no different.
Halfway through watching the parade on TV, I had a sudden urge to do something for my beloved country. To perform for her, to protect her, to support her. Heck! Whatever that will bring her status one level up.
Than came the crazy, taking over the world plans (at that moment of time, it sounded perfectly sane and achievable) that will put Mojo-jojo out of business and the Powerpuff girls hailing me as their new master.
To be a little less vague, the plan involves me becoming a world-recognize super-hero who saved all humanity from total annihilation by big, ugly, green aliens wielding weapons that makes the home-made SAR21 look puny and cute.
Than all of the sudden, I remembered the heart-warming song that Project Superstar's Chen Wei Lian belted out for the country. Title of the song is "Xiao Ren Wu De Xin Sheng",
I resumed munching on my Lays' Potato Chips and doing what I do best. Providing materials ( by the molecular level) to an age-old, natural process called Photosynthesis.
Hey, every little bit counts right?
