What I learnt today

What I learnt today.
1) Do not trust what you read, even if it is a research paper published in a scientific journal. Just follow what your boss says because at the end of the day, your boss is the one grading you.

2) A teacher should always claim that he/she never teach by intimidation. However, if the students says otherwise, just blame it on their small guts.

3) A teacher always teaches 10% of his/her knowledge. Retain the rest because you never know when you need it to stun your students.

4) You will always win a fight when you stand firm on your claim. Especially when you are the HOD, close to 60, unmarried, probably undergoing menopause and lack certain needs. Other people will understand.

5) When you see a student about to interrupt your afternoon nap time, slam the door in his face.

6) You can deny your students the right to everything now (hate them, kill them, don’t give them their Masters). Just ensure that you are the first to broadcast that young fellow who recently got famous was once your student.

7) You can never avoid politics, especially when you’re at the source of it.

8) Singapore limpets do not have homing instincts
